Neponset River Reservation – Fowl Meadow, Burma Road and Paul’s Bridge

Walking, historic marker, canoe launch.
I-93/128 exit 2 to 138 N, L on Neponset Valley Parkway, parking lot is on L at intersection of Neponset Valley and Brush Hill Road.

Blue Hills Reservation

Little Blue Hill

Hiking.
I-93/128 exit 2 to 138 N, entrance L 0.2 miles ahead.

Trailside Museum and Great Blue Hill

Educational programs, exhibits, hiking, historic sites, downhill skiing.

Reservation Headquarters

Houghton’s Pond

Trails, swimming, playground, picnicking.

Chickatawbut Overlook

Hiking, view of Boston, picnic area.
I-93/128 exit 5, Route 28 N (Milton), R onto Chickatawbut Road, parking on top of hill.

Pine Tree Brook and Pope’s Pond

Walking.
I-93/128 exit 2 to 138 N, bear R on Canton Avenue, L on Blue Hill Parkway, trails begin about 0.5 mile ahead, downstream trail on R, upstream trail and Pope’s Pond on L.

Turner’s Pond

Walking, fishing.
I-93 NB exit 9, past two stoplights and take first L, bear R onto Adams Street, L on Brook Road, entrance on R just past Canton Avenue. Alternate entrance off Central Avenue.

Milton Cemetery

Walking.
I-93 NB exit 5, 28 N/Randolph Avenue, N on Randolph Avenue, then R onto Centre Street, entrance on your R.

Cunningham Park

Walking.
I-93 NB exit 9, past two stoplights and take first L, bear L onto Adams Street, R onto Edgehill Street, park will be on your L.

Milton Town Landing

Canoeing, boat ramp, picnicking.
I-93 NB exit 9, past two stoplights and take first L, bear R onto Adams Street, R on Wharf Street, bear R into parking area.

Governor Hutchinson’s Field and the Forbes House Museum

Neponset River Reservation – Forbes Woods
