Dec. 20, 2022–
The first project is a partnership with the Town of Milton to improve understanding of climate priorities in the Neponset Estuary. NepRWA will coordinate a series of public meetings and workshops with state and municipal staff from Boston, Quincy, and Milton, along with neighborhood and community-based organizations, in order to facilitate discussions about sea level rise, storm surge, nature-based solutions, and green infrastructure improvements.
The second project is with the Town of Norwood to advance two green infrastructure projects at the Savage Center and Cleveland Elementary School, from their early design phases to 75% complete. The green infrastructure projects will help protect essential community services from existing and future flooding challenges while also improving water quality for the Neponset River. The project will include community engagement with Norwood students and the general public.
