Black-capped Chickadee

It was a perfect late fall morning, as NepRWA board member, Les Tyrala, led a few adventurous souls on a bird walk along the lower Blue Hills trails.  Their tally includes the following:

Red-tailed Hawk – 1
Downy Woodpecker – 3
Blue Jay – 1
American Crow – 2
Black-capped Chickadee – 6
Tufted Titmouse – 1
White-breasted Nuthatch – 4
American Robin – 2
European Starling – 17
Dark-eyed Junco – 2
Northern Cardinal – 2
American Goldfinch – 3
