Great craft beer can be found at the Dorchester Brewing Co.
What’s an important ingredient in making great beer? Water.
The Neponset Watershed is home to six great breweries that all depend on clean water to produce their wonderful products. This makes a brewery the perfect location to hold a watershed event, and our first ever brewery event was a heck of a lot of fun.
(For future research purposes, Neponset Watershed breweries include: Dorchester Brewing Company, Trillium, Blue Hill Brewery, Percival Brewing, Castle Island Brewery, and Deadwood Brewery.)

Over 50 people turned out for ‘A Night with The Neponset’
‘A Night with the Neponset’ was a fun NepRWA social event – a chance for people to chat about the river, ask questions, and get to know us in a very relaxed and informal environment. The type of event we hope to replicate moving forward. Attendees John and Natalie agree, “We’ve been keeping up with the newsletters since we learned about the Neponset River at RiverFest last year. It was fun chatting with the staff, and the beer helped too.”

Thank you to everyone that came out to support us!
It was great to see so many familiar faces and exciting to see new ones. Many thanks to NepRWA Advisory Council members Kyle McBurney and Maddy McGregor for their invaluable support, and a huge thank you to Dorchester Brewing Company for hosting us and providing the excellent brews.

River trivia giant Jenga was a huge hit!
