Birds, Seen and Heard, at Fowl Meadow

During the early morning hours of May 14, NepRWA board member, Les Tyrala, led a group of 14 bird watchers through Fowl Meadow (along Burma Road from Paul’s Bridge to the south edge of marsh), which is within the western portion of the DCR Blue Hills Reservation.

They observed and / or heard 45 species (plus 1 spring peeper, 1 gray tree frog, 2 northern water snakes, 1 garter snake).
