NepRWA Annual Meeting
Castle Island Brewing
31 Astor Ave, Norwood
6:30 pm-9 pm

Join us as we gather with friends from around the Watershed, attend to the business of our organization, reflect on the accomplishments of 2021, plus hear from our special guest speaker, Bruce Gellerman, Senior Environmental Reporter from WBUR-NPR Boston, as he talks about the changing role of environmental journalism. (Read more about Bruce, below.)

We’ll provide a variety of gourmet sandwiches, salads, and desserts from Lombardo’s, along with an assortment of craft beers brewed right on the site!

And we’ll be offering a chance to win a new kayak! All proceeds support NepRWA advocacy, science, and education programs.

Enjoy a family-friendly celebration of communities along the Neponset River and Greenway Trail.

Includes free canoeing and kayaking, music, kids’ activities, environmental tables, food, and more!

Invasive Removal
Walpole Town Forest

Join NepRWA staff and members of the Walpole Town Forest Committee as we clear invasives from the forest.

  • We will provide gloves, essential tools, bug spray, and a first aid kit.
  • Please plan to bring hats, sunscreen, water, snacks — and any favorite work gloves or tools.
  • Long pants and closed-toed shoes are recommended for terrain and poison ivy.

Summer Solstice Paddle (limited to 10 guests)
Neponset Reservoir, Foxborough
Meet at Edwards Road canoe launch.

Join NepRWA staff on a guided paddle as we explore the headwaters of the Neponset River in Foxborough.

Cost is free for NepRWA members and $20 for non-members (per family).

NOTE: This is a BYOB event (bring your own boat) however, we may have a few boats available to loan out.
