Sat., April 2 from 1-3 pm — Bunny Hop

NepRWA and the Neponset River Greenway Council are sponsoring a spring bunny hop!

Join us for music by DJ Ed Regal, kids’ games, activities & bunny hop dance, and exploring tractors (courtesy of the Vintage Tractor & Machinery Association, Inc.)

This is a FREE public event.

Sat., April 22 from 9 am-noon — Neponset River Spring Cleanup
Various sites across the Neponset Watershed. Locations TBD.
This is one of our biggest cleanups of the year and takes place at multiple sites in the Watershed, from the Neponset Reservoir in Foxborough to the estuary in Dorchester and Quincy.

Sat., May 6 — Doyle Playground Celebration from 11 am – 2 pm
940 River Street, Hyde Park. Street parking is available.

Thurs., May 11 — Community Water Monitoring Network (CWMN) Program begins

The CWMN Program takes place the 2nd Thurs. of the month through October. We rely on volunteers to take water samples in order for NepRWA scientists to monitor the health of the Neponset River.Please contact NepRWA Environmental Science Fellow, Len Yeomans, at yeomans@neponset.org if you have any questions or wish to volunteer for the CWMN Program.


Sat. May 20 from 10 am-noon — NepRWA Paddle Event

Meet at Paul’s Bridge, Milton

Park at the Burma Trail parking lot at the corner of Brush Hill Road and Neponset Valley Parkway.

Join NepRWA staff on a guided tour of the Neponset River. We’ll launch from Paul’s Bridge and head upstream toward Signal Hill in Canton. Limited to 10 guests. Registration is required at www.neponset.org/paddle


Sat., June 3 from 9 am-1 pm — Neponset Day
DCR Neponset II Park, corner of Hilltop & Granite Ave., Dorchester

Enjoy a free, family-friendly community celebration along the Neponset River and Greenway Trail. Activities include free boating, kid’s crafts, music, food trucks, environmental exhibits, and more.
