Annual Meeting

Save the date for our 2018 Annual Meeting! Purchase tickets below.

Thursday,  June 7 at 6:30pm
Florian Hall
55 Hallett St., Boston

Join NepRWA board members, staff, volunteers, and friends at the historic Florian Hall in Dorchester for a fun night of food and drink.

We are pleased to announce that our guest speaker is Anthony Sammarco—noted historian and author of over sixty books on the history and development of Boston, including Lost Boston; The History of Howard Johnson’s: How A Massachusetts Soda Fountain Became a Roadside Icon; and The Baker Chocolate Company: A Sweet History.

A small selection of books will be available for purchase and signing by the author.

In addition, we’re offering a pre-meeting walk to the Neponset Estuary, which will begin at 5:30pm.  Please let us know if you’re interested!

Finally, we are offering a kayak raffle, and the winner will be chosen at the end of the evening.

Walking Tour

Due to Florian Hall’s close proximity to the Neponset Estuary (about a 10 min. walk), we are able to offer an optional walking tour of Pope John Paul II Park and the Neponset Estuary with some of NepRWA’s staff.  Please let us know if you’ll be joining us so that we will know to expect you. The walking tour will take place prior to the start of the Annual Meeting.

Call or Nancy Mahon at 781-575-0354 x304 or email mahon@neponset.org.

Kayak Raffle

Thanks to Paddle Boston, we are offering a raffle for a brand new Zydeco 11.0 kayak with paddle.  Attendance at the Annual Meeting is not necessary for kayak raffle participation.  The winner’s name will be drawn at the end of the evening.
