Stormwater Pollution in Milton and How You Can Help
January 31 at 7pm
Milton Public Library – Keyes Room
Presenters: Hillary Waite, Environmental Coordinator, Town of Milton; Chris Trudel, Civil Engineer, Town of Milton
Just like most towns in Massachusetts, Milton faces a problem with stormwater pollution. This occurs when runoff from parking lots, roads, driveways and sidewalks carries pollution into our waterways. Stormwater pollution can make water bodies unsightly, and unsafe for swimming, boating, fishing, and other recreational activities.
The public is invited to join this discussion and learn what you can do to prevent polluted stormwater runoff and protect local waterways. More about stormwater.
Free and open to the public. Organized by the Conservation Committee, Milton Garden Club
