Sat., May 20 – Birding Walk, Fowl Meadow – 8-10am

Birders in Fowl Meadow for web May 2015Join NepRWA board member, birder, and geologist, Les Tyrala, as he leads a spring birding walk.

Saturday, May 20th
8-10am
Fowl Meadow, Milton

Rain date is the next day at the same time and location.

In mid-May, this will be a “birdy” location (warblers, rails, grosbeaks, gnatcatchers, hawks), due to the peak of the spring migration.  We will walk a mile or so on a flat, possibly muddy, trail called Burma Road located near the river.  This floodplain trail transects a portion of the DCR Blue Hills Reservation referred to as Fowl Meadow.  Dress appropriately – and remember your binoculars and bird books.

The meeting location will be provided to the signed up attendees.  Limited to 15.

To register, please contact Nancy Fyler fyler@neponset.org or 781-575-0354 x307.
