Sunset Walk in Fowl Meadow, Along the Neponset River, October 31, 2008

A Trembling aspen is enveloped in the warm light of sunset.

Oaks shine in the light of sunset, bordering the Fowl Meadow wetland.

Red maple, brilliant in its fall color, alongside the Burma Rd. path at Fowl Meadow.

A Nuthatch bops between trees in a

wetland alongside the Neponset River

at Paul's Bridge, in Milton.

A bird's nest awaits another year of offspring.

Bronzed oak...

Sunlight through Phragmites and dogwood along the Burma Rd. path.

A glimpse of the marsh through a Buttonbush shrub.

Phragmites at sunset.

A view through willow shrubs, sedges and Phragmites....

And from the car window, on the way out - in a line of stopped traffic - a view of maples

changing colors by a stone wall in Milton.
