A Mallard duck paddles in the water of the Neponset River Watershed, feeding and spending time with fellow ducks.

I am a female Mallard duck!

Which of the birds at Turner's Pond, below, is a female Mallard?

A Canada goose and several Mallard ducks hang-out along the bank of Turner's Pond in Milton, feeding and spending time with their friends and family. Turner's Pond is in the Neponset River Watershed of Metro Boston.

NOTE: See how BIG the Canada goose is (largest bird, here),

compared to the Mallards.

Turner's Pond is in Milton. Have you been there? What birds have you seen? What were they doing? What did they eat?
