explore trails in a woodland garden with 1500 native plant
species and cultivars, including 200 rare and endangered
species, pick up some native plants at the nursery, take
classes, or volunteer! Tours are available on weekdays at 10AM and on
weekends at 2PM, and are included with admission (no
reservations necessary). Admission: $8 adults, $6 seniors and
students with ID, $4 children 3-18. Free for members and

Pond Farm Natural History Weekends - Workshops for Amateur
Naturalists. Come learn at weekend workshops for amateur
naturalists in botany, lichenology, bryology, geology,
odonatology, herpetology, entomology, ornithology, ecology,
and any other - ology that strikes your fancy. Our natural
history workshops are taught by recognized experts in their
respective fields and are designed to provide an opportunity
for an intensive learning experience for serious amateur
naturalists. Pariticpants should be reasonably fit and able to
hike to field sites over fairly challenging terrain. Friday
and Saturday evenings are spent in the classroom, while
Saturday and Sunday are full field days. Learning continues
over meals, which are taken together. Arrival is Friday
evening and departure is late Sunday afternoon. All workshops
