Advocacy

for the

Neponset

Watershed

Advocacy is one avenue by which the Neponset River Watershed Association protects the Neponset River and its surrounding watershed lands and waterways.

NepRWA Advocacy Director Steve Pearlman comments on development plans and policy to make them more watershed-friendly. Sometimes NepRWA submits comments as a single entity, and at other times co-signed with other organizations. NepRWA also attends hearings, other groups' meetings and community meetings to discuss watershed restoration opportunities and environmental issues.

NepRWA also occasionally runs educational workshops for municipal employees concerning watershed issues and potential solutions.

If there is something going on in your Neponset Watershed community that you would like NepRWA to look into, or to find out how best to help, contact Steve Pearlman at 781-575-0354 x304 or pearlman@neponset.org.
